Description

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud systems.
  • Ensure uptime, reliability, and performance of IT infrastructure.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies to improve operations.

2. IT Support & Service Delivery

  • Manage IT support team for timely resolution of technical issues (L1–L3).
  • Maintain SLA for tickets, system updates, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Implement ITIL best practices for service management.

3. Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Monitor security controls, antivirus, firewalls, and data protection systems.
  • Conduct periodic audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks (ISO, GDPR, SOC, etc.)
  • Disaster Recovery Plans.

4. Software & Application Management

  • Oversee implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of business applications (ERP/CRM/HRMS).
  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders for successful deployments.
  • Ensure licensing compliance and version control.

5. Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate IT team performance.
  • Manage external vendors, contracts, and service partners.
  • Negotiate pricing, AMC, procurement of hardware/software.

6. Project Management

  • Plan and execute IT projects (network upgrade, cloud migration, security improvements).
  • Prepare timelines, and status reports.
  • Ensure alignment of IT roadmaps.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–10 years of experience in IT operations, systems management, network/security management.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • Windows/Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
    • Networks, firewalls, VPNs, cybersecurity tools
    • IT automation tools and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
    • ITIL, ISO27001 framework (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure Administrator, CISCO etc.
  • Experience in managing IT for mid/large-scale organizations.
  • Experience in BPO, software development, or IT service companies is a plus.
